Updating a Flash site
In addition to the design and construction of sites from scratch, I am also happy to do redesign work, or update a pre-existing site. Singer / Song-writer Jon Bernardo asked me to to take his previous flash site and update it to suit his new requirements. I was able to:
- Update all the images on the site without changing its look and feel.
- Add two scrooling image galleries. These not only allow fans to see more photos of Jon, but also add a dynamic movement to the site.
- Change the musical content and re-write the jukebox system on the site.
- Streamline the loading of photos and music for slower connections.
- Add a non-flash frontpage to allow for increased search-engine visibility.
